Frequently Asked Questions

Have a Question? We’ve Got the Answer!

What makes a Winow bike different from other bikes?

Winow bikes are precision-built for cyclists who want next-level performance and a truly personalized fit. Every frame is crafted with high-quality carbon and customized to match your riding style, goals, and fit needs.

How does the customization process work?

Once you reach out, we’ll walk you through key choices like geometry, components, and finish. Whether you're looking for aggressive aero gains or all-day comfort, we’ll help build a bike that’s dialed in for you.

Are Winow frames only for racers?

Not at all. While Winow frames are performance-oriented, they’re just as great for endurance riders, gravel adventurers, and anyone who wants a tailored ride. If you’re serious about comfort, efficiency, or going fast—you’re in the right place.

How long does it take to get my custom Winow bike?

Turnaround time varies depending on frame choice, customizations, and component availability, but most builds are ready within 3–6 weeks. We'll keep you updated every step of the way.

Can I bring my own components or wheels?

Yes! We’re happy to incorporate your preferred components or discuss upgrades based on what you ride now. Just let us know during your consultation.

What if I’m not sure exactly what I need?

That’s where we come in. You don’t need to know every detail—we’ll guide you through options, explain the trade-offs, and make sure you’re confident before anything moves forward.

How are Winow bikes such great value for the quality?

Through our direct collaboration with the manufacturer, we’re able to offer high-performance, custom-built carbon bikes at a price that reflects their true value—without the added layers of traditional distribution. This streamlined approach means you get exceptional quality, tailored design, and pro-level performance at a price that’s hard to match.

What does shipping cost, and how is the bike protected in transit?

We offer shipping for out-of-area customers across Canada and beyond. Your Winow bike will be carefully packed with extra care handling and insured at full value. Due to the size, weight, and special handling requirements, you can expect shipping to start at $300–$400, depending on destination. We know that’s an investment—but it’s part of ensuring your bike arrives safely and ready for action.

I’m not local—how do you make sure my bike fits properly?

We’ve worked with many remote customers and have a system that works. You’ll complete a detailed Bike Fit Worksheet, and we’ll review photos of your current setup and ride position. We can also connect by phone or Zoom to refine your fit. It takes a bit more communication, but the result is a bike that’s built to suit you, not just your measurements.

Who handles bike fitting—and is that included?

Every Element-Winow bike includes a professional bike fitting by Cam MacKenzie, our certified fitter and veteran mechanic. With over 30 years of experience building and fitting triathlon bikes—and a passion for keeping up with the latest in geometry, gear, and trends—Cam brings an unmatched level of detail and care to each fit. This service is valued at $299 but included at no extra charge when you purchase a Winow bike through us
