Two days out from an Ironman is a pretty lazy day. Not much to do but try to hydrate and build strength and glycogen, right? And a little bit of panicking but let’s not focus on that. Yet/
Athlete check-in for an Ironman race is when it starts to feel real. this year, I let Louis at the “Restore” booth help me focus, relax and stretch with full body stretch treatment. Loved it! This is definitely something I’d do again. Having gone through it now, I think I’d pick this treatment over a massage.
This is where Elise does her bike build herself, having travelled to the race without her bike mechanic husband. This is also where it is super handy to have a husband who is also an artist.
