Shorter days and colder temperatures have always signalled the end of our outdoor ride season but it is also the beginning of the indoor ride season. This is the time of year when you start to build your base for your next race season and you can get the most out of the indoor season by training with focus, purpose and consistency. Then, the New Year rolls around and the outdoor ride season starts to loom on the horizon. Suddenly, it's time to get more serious about training. Coached bike workouts take the guesswork out of it for you: all you need to do is show up and do the work. Join us and start to build your base for this season and here's why: we think that training with purpose can also be fun. We'll be putting some "fun" into fundamentals.
You can have fun and get fitter at the same time. You'll have to join us to to find out how but if you think winning points and prizes, participating in group rides and races, or participating in trivia battles will trying to hitting your interval intensity is fun, you're in for a treat this year.
We will continue offering our indoor rides on Zoom so travel and space aren't an issue. Plus, you can run your choice of audio background - music, hockey game, movie, whatever gets you riding.
With your registration, you will get an invitation to the video feed and can do the workouts at home, work or wherever you're set up.
We're not new to this game. We know it's hard and it can be a grind but we also know how to engage and motivate athletes. And we won't make you do anything we haven't done ourselves. Fair warning, though: we've done a lot of crazy, dumb stuff.
Bike workouts are coached by Steph Neufeld and Elise Gaudet. Steph is a certified spin instructor and multi-time Ironman finisher. Elise is a certified triathlon coach and also has a long list of Ironman races. Both Steph and Elise have qualified for and competed in Kona so they know what it takes to get there and get the job done.
Ride times are Tuesdays 6 PM and Saturdays 830AM.
Tuesday sessions start at 6PM and run between 60 and 75 minutes. Sure, you can ride longer but if you have high quality, specifically targeted workouts, 60 to 75 sessions are enough to improve fitness, strength and power.
Saturday sessions start at 830AM and run 75 to 90 minutes.
You can join twice weekly, once a week or just as a casual drop-in when your schedule allows. The more often you ride, the more points you earn, the more prizes you can win!
You don't need anything specific or special in order to join in our workouts. A bike, a trainer, a bottle of water or two and a towel (highly recommended) are all you need in order to get in a great workout with us.
If you are riding on a Smart trainer and a training platform like Zwift. we can ride virtually together. We take a few minutes at the beginning of the session to synch the daily route for anyone who wants to ride in a group for that session.
Also, if you are riding on a platform that you run on a laptop or your phone, you will need to connect with us on Zoom via a separate device. It's a good idea to test your setup before the workouts.

We know you have other training costs to consider but we also know that that commitment of joining a group takes the tendency to procrastinate out of it. Plus, group training can help you work harder so we are confident there is some value added to these sessions. But, still, we don't want to make the cost a burden, just an incentive. So, we charge just $10 per session. Yup, just $10. We figure it's enough to
Two sessions a week (13 sessions) is just $109.
One session a week (8 sessions ) is $69.
Single session is $10.
