It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas (and then some) so our thoughts turn once again to gifts for all the cyclists and triathletes on our gift list.   If you are looking for some help or suggestions, we're here for you!  Here is our list of some great gift ideas large and small for you and/or your favourite fan of two wheels.

Fumpa Pumps

Fumpa Pump is the portable battery-operated, USB chargeable bike pump that quickly and efficiently inflates your tire with its patented air compressor design. The original Fumpa Pump pumps up to 6 tires and the miniFumpa can inflate two. The original Fumpa is perfect for every day and for travel. It can replace your floor pump.  The miniFumpa will fit in a pocket or saddle bag and is great for out on the road. For travel, take both!

Saris Trainer Climbing Block

With three levels of adjustment, you can fine tune your inside ride position to suit your workout or to get optimum viewing angles for those long trainer rides when you are multi-tasking and also bingeing on your latest Netflix series.

Jewelry

We've been producing our own cycling-inspired jewelry pieces for 3 seasons now and we have definitely identified our customers' favourites.  From unisex bracelets to fun, feminine pieces like earrings and necklaces, we have something for just about every cyclist or triathlete. And if you don't see what you are looking for here, we can work with you to create a customized piece for you.

Custom Bike Stickers

Custom name decals really are a one-of-a-kind gift idea.  We can work with you to get the perfect match for your bike.  Choose colour, font, size of decal. And we're not limited to just adding a name decal.  Add personal mantras or even small design items like stripes or other graphic details.

Sunglasses

There are nearly as many eyewear options as there are cyclists and, if your cyclist is anything like me, you can never have too many. I am forever looking for them so it's handy to have more to choose from so I can stash them in different spots so I can just grab and go when I'm ready to ride.  Choose from function performance eyewear from Ryders, fun & fashionable pieces from Goodr or premium performance and race gear from 100%.

Lights

Whether for illumination or enhanced visibility for safety purposes, more and more of us consider lights to be a necessary accessory for our bikes.  Lights are now smaller, more powerful and less expensive than ever.  And most are now USB chargeable.

 Shoes

If they are worn frequently, bike shoes will not last forever. If you can't remember the last time you replaced yours, it might be time.  One of our favourites right now is the Garneau Tri Air Lite. Now that WTC has pulled off a few sanctioned races this fall, we can now look forward to next year's race season with some optimism and get our gear lined up for our next big race.

Swimmer's Hair Care Bundle

If you're racing next year, you'll be back in the pool and you'll want to protect your hair. TriSwim Shampoo and Conditioner will help you keep your hair strong, healthy, shiny and protected from chlorine damage.

You might ask why a store like ours, Element, with its roots firmly in the triathlon market, would start working with Brooklyn Bicycle Co, a bicycle manufacturer with what appears to be a very different aesthetic and style of bike.  But we share their passion for beautiful, quality bikes.  Whether you are looking for a hard-working commuter bike like Driggs or something like the Brighton for casual rides around the neighborhood, Brooklyn has something for you.
